# Get fills for a trading day

> Returns every fill (trade execution) for your organization's accounts during a CME trading day.

**CME trading day definition:**
A CME trading day runs from **17:00 CT** the previous calendar day to **16:00 CT** the current day.
Example: "2026-03-11" covers 2026-03-10 17:00 CT → 2026-03-11 16:00 CT.

**Filtering:**
| Param | Description |
|-------|-------------|
| `tradingDay` | Date to query (defaults to today) |
| `accountId` | One account UUID, or a comma-separated list (max 100) to scope to a subset of accounts |
| `symbol` | Filter by contract symbol (e.g., ES, NQ) |

**Why an order happened:** every fill carries the engine's free-text `reason`
and a stable `trigger` derived from it — `auto_liquidation_breach` (a
trading rule was breached), `auto_liquidation_eod` (end-of-day market-close
flatten), `personal_risk`, `admin_lockout`, `time_machine`,
`contract_expiry`, `auto_cancel`, or `trader` for the trader's own
actions — plus a display `triggerLabel`.

**Costs:** every fill carries `fee` and `commission` — the same values as the
`fill.created` webhook and `GET /organization/reconciliation`, so a daily
reconciliation needs no per-account order calls.

**Pagination — two interchangeable styles:**

*Cursor (recommended for large days):* read `nextCursor` from the response and
send it back as `?cursor=`. Keep going while `hasMore` is true; the last page
returns `hasMore: false` and `nextCursor: null`. Do not send `offset`
alongside a cursor — it is ignored. Note that `total` counts the rows
remaining from your cursor position onward, so it shrinks as you page.

*Offset:* send `limit` (default 500, max 1000) and `offset`, and page until
`hasMore` is false. Here `total` is the full count for the trading day.

Fills are ordered oldest first, so both styles stay stable while a day is
still being traded — new fills land after your current position rather than
shifting rows you have already read.

response to get the next page. When using cursor, do not send
`offset` — it will be ignored.

**How it works:** The cursor is an opaque string that points to the
last item you received. The server uses it to efficiently fetch the
next set of results without scanning previous pages.

**Backwards compatible:** If you don't send a cursor, offset/limit
            pagination works as before.
