# Remove a team member

> Remove a staff member from your organization. Their login is revoked immediately (staff accounts are dedicated to your organization, so the account itself is deleted).

**Safety rails:**
- You cannot remove yourself.
- You cannot remove the last member who can manage the team.

**Permissions:** requires **manage** access to "Team & roles".

**Authentication:** send your organization API key in the `X-API-Key` header.
