# Get daily account and trader activity

> Returns, per day, the trading accounts provisioned for your organization and
the traders added to it. Use this for account-growth and trader-growth charts
without downloading or aggregating every page of the trading-accounts or
traders lists client-side.

Dates are grouped by UTC day: an account by its `createdAt`, a trader by when
they were added to your organization. Optional `startDate` and `endDate`
apply to both and match the date filters on GET /organization/trading-accounts.
Days with no new accounts and no new traders are left out.

`type` counts only accounts of that type. Traders are always all of your
organization's traders, the same population as `summary.totalTraders` in
GET /organization/analytics.

**Running trader count:** `tradersBefore` is the number of traders added
before `startDate` (0 without one). It plus the running sum of
`tradersJoined` gives your trader count at the end of each day.

**Example:**
```http
GET /organization/trading-accounts/activity?startDate=2026-07-01&endDate=2026-07-31&type=evaluation
```

**Permissions:** requires **view** access to "Traders & accounts".

**Authentication:** send your organization API key in the `X-API-Key` header.
