API reference: examples and rate limits

  • Every operation across the Platform, Trade, and Market Data references now documents its success responses with realistic examples.
  • Trade API examples show the exact {success, data, error, code} envelope the API returns.
  • Every error response now carries a schema.
  • Base URLs in generated code samples always point at production.
  • New Rate Limits & Quotas page: the Trade API’s per-account limits, the exact 429 RATE_LIMITED retry contract, and webhook delivery quotas.
Improvements

Browser access policy

  • Browsers can now call the Trade API, the Market Data API, and the Platform API’s user-scoped endpoints only from Hyperprop’s own apps or approved partner origins. Enforced via CORS and WebSocket origin checks.
  • Organization endpoints remain open to any origin.
  • Server-to-server calls are unaffected — they send no Origin header. No action needed for typical integrations.
  • Need direct browser access for a trader-facing frontend? Contact us to approve your origin — a config change, no deploy. Details: Browser access policy.
New releases

New documentation site

  • Platform, Trade, and Market Data APIs documented in one place, generated from the live OpenAPI specs with an interactive playground.
  • Guides: authentication, idempotency, webhooks with a signature-verification recipe, and the MCP connector for AI agents.
Bug fixes

Copy trading: partial profit-taking

  • Followers of a leader running a partial scale-out (several take-profits OCO-linked to one stop) now scale out proportionally with each partial fill.
  • Previously the follower’s whole position could close at the leader’s first target.
  • The protective stop-loss still mirrors at full size.
New releases

Trading rules: dollar drawdowns, permission flags

  • drawdownDenomination on trading rules: "percent" (default) or "dollars" — dollars is the right choice for $0-balance accounts.
  • drawdownTrailCeiling: for trailing/EOD drawdowns, the floor locks once it has trailed up to initial balance + this amount.
  • Four informational permission flags shown to traders: newsTradingAllowed, microscalpingAllowed, weekendHoldingAllowed, overnightHoldingAllowed.
  • price on trading plans is now optional (defaults to 0).
New releases

Account nicknames and a price-alert manager

  • Traders can set a display nickname on any trading account (POST /trade/account/nickname, max 32 characters); the real account number stays visible.
  • The chart’s Alert button now opens a manager listing every alert — armed or triggered — with one-click delete.
ImprovementsBug fixes

Account details rebuilt + chart data integrity

  • Account view restructured around decisions: progress toward target, risk capacity remaining (“XleftofX left of Y”), and the rules that apply.
  • Consistency shown in percent, the way firms state it; drawdown mode and trading permissions stated plainly.
  • Metrics that don’t apply to an account’s rules are hidden instead of showing zeros.
  • Corrupted locally-cached candles can no longer stick to a chart — server history fully replaces the window it covers on every load.
  • A position closed while your connection dropped an update could keep showing as open; the app now re-verifies positions and working orders against the engine every minute.
