Send a test event
Sends a webhook.test event to the webhook URL synchronously and returns the delivery result. Use this to verify your endpoint is reachable and correctly verifying signatures before going live.
Test payload sent to your URL:
{
"id": "evt_test_<uuid>",
"type": "webhook.test",
"createdAt": "2026-03-28T21:30:00Z",
"organizationId": "<your-org-id>",
"data": {
"message": "This is a test event from Hyperprop. Your webhook is working!"
},
"previousAttributes": null
}
Headers included:
X-Hyperprop-Signature— HMAC-SHA256 signatureX-Hyperprop-Event: webhook.testX-Hyperprop-Delivery: evt_test_<uuid>X-Hyperprop-Timestamp: <unix>
Test events are logged as webhook.test deliveries, including their exact
payload, response/error, latency, and attempt diagnostics. They do not enter
the automatic retry schedule; use manual redelivery after fixing the endpoint.
Authentication: send your organization API key in the X-API-Key header.
